Narlo is a mixed farming enterprise located 96kms north-west of Port Lincoln on South Australia's beautiful Eyre Peninsula, at Mount Drummond. The property is approximately 1500 hectares, and is farmed by Peter and Christine, and Craig and Danielle Meaney. We currently crop approximately 1100 hectares (wheat, barley, canola and lupins) as well as running around 650 breeding ewes. |
Narlo Dohne Merinos was founded in 2002 by Peter and Craig, who were keen to expand their livestock enterprise and immediately saw the potential in the dual purpose dohne sheep. They established the stud based on Far Valley stock, as well as Amuri Creek and some influence of Roseville Park bloodlines. The stud has enjoyed ongoing success since that time. |
| Each year, Narlo Dohne Merinos offer approximately 40- 50 Rams for sale at the on property dohne ram sale, as well as making a number of private sales throughout the year. Our aim is to consistently produce broad, long sheep with a bare breech and high quality wool. |
